The Drayton project is located in Drayton Township, Patricia Mining Division, Ontario, some 10 kms east-southeast of Sioux Lookout, within the Superior Province of the Canadian Shield, the world’s largest Archaen craton and host to a variety of mineral deposits including major gold mining districts of Rice Lake, Pickle Crow, Long Lac and Hemlo. The area over which the company has mineral rights include six mining claims, comprising of 87 units, covering an unsurveyed area of some 1,400 hectares.

2007 Drill Program

The company has completed it's second phase 2007 drilling program consisting of 10 holes (2,324 m). The 2007 drill program was a follow up on the 2006 drill program, which consisted of 10 holes (1,674 m) and where significant gold intercepts were encountered. The results of the 2007 drill program were inconclusive and management is now considering the future potential of the project.

2006 Drill Program

The Phase I drill program consisting of a total of ten holes (1,674 metres) has been completed with significant gold intercepts encountered. Higher grade intervals of up to 14.5 g/t Au over 2.0 metres contain visible gold in quartz +carbonate veins. Gold mineralization has been traced in seven holes over a strike length of 400 metres and is open below 115 metres depth and along strike to the NE and SW.

Other significant gold intercepts from the program include 4.3 g/t Au over 1.5 metres and 1.0 g/t Au over 9.1 metres. Both the 14.5 g/t Au and 4.3 g/t Au values are metallics assays of earlier 50-gram fire assays that returned 7.4 g/t Au and 3.9 g/t Au, respectively.

The company said mineralization is only exposed in trenches along the host structure and a detailed IP survey is planned to infill the existing broad survey to further define geologic features that may control gold mineralization. A follow-up core drilling program of approximately 1,500 metres will be formulated once the additional geophysics has been completed.

Mineralization at the Drayton Gold Property is hosted by volcanic and sedimentary rocks of the Wabigoon greenstone belt. The focus of the current exploration program is the Shaft Prospect located in the Northeast corner of the property.

Historical Exploration

There are three known mineral prospects on the Drayton gold property that have seen previous work. These are the McCoombe Occurance, on Minnitaki Lake, where previous work included geophysics, trenching and drilling programs by the previous operators. The Wright-Hargreaves Occurance located on the north shore of East Bay, Lake Minnitaki, has had geological mapping and extensive sampling performed initially, and then during 1991 and 1992 Teck Exploration Limited conducted a substantial systematic exploration program on the showing and for 2 kilometers along its possible eastward extension, which consisted of ground geophysics including magnetic, VLF electromagnetic and Induced Polarization surveys followed by trenching and diamond drilling. The third prospect is the “Shaft Area”, one of three patented claims, that was rediscovered in June of 1998 by a former MNDM Resident Geologist-Sioux Lookout, and which to date has no known records of having any modern multidisciplinary exploration work being performed. Several grab samples from the trenches and old muck pile beside the shaft returned interesting gold values including two samples exceeding 1 opt Au (34/28 gpt Au).
